Storyline Maniac Hero (2016):

Nakatsu was laid off at his company and now works part-time at a convenience store. One day, Nakatsu forms a vigilante group to protect his town with Toshida, who has a mysterious physical ability, Kanari, who is a female high school student with excellent information gathering abilities, and Kusaki, who wields hammers under his sleeves. As they punish evil doers, the group gains popular support and flourish.

phikr1 Mar 09 2017 10:24 am lol while watching it i actually pictured a different scene, the exact opposite of what was shown in the movie, an epic fantasy action movie, what the hell, maybe it is becase ive read too many fantasy manga and this movie used those stereotype plot but in a comedic way

Frustrated by the urban decay around him, a convenience store clerk meets a young man equipped with Spider-Manlike gadgets, and - along with a high school nerd and a man with two mallets in his sleeves - they decide to become vigilantes.

The original Maniac is definitely much better, but as far as remakes go, this was not bad. It replicates the original story almost exactly. What makes it good is the whole first person perspective, it makes the movie really unsettling and really showcases Frank's life.
